Submission Guidelines:
Submit 3, 6, or 9 images of different assemblage or 3D collage pieces
Price: $20 CAD for 3, 6, or 9 different assemblage or 3D collage pieces for the first issue
Additional charge of $10 for late submissions
Overall Guidelines:
- Images must be of excellent quality (not blurry)
- Artwork should be the only item visible, with a neutral background preferred
- Full-view images must show all artwork edges
- If required, images of details may be included in addition to the 3, 6, or 9 image submissions. Detail images should reveal intriguing portions of the work.
- No watermarks, borders, or names on digital images
- No AI works will be accepted. All accepted works must be analog assemblages or 3D collages
- Only one submission per artist per issue, consisting of 3, 6, or 9 images of different assemblage or 3D collage pieces will be accepted. We encourage artists to carefully select their best work for submission, ensuring that each submission receives the attention it deserves during the review process. Additionally, submitted works must not have previously appeared on Assembla Magazine, ensuring fresh and original content for our readership.
Submission Process:
- Non-refundable submission fee: $20 CAD for 3, 6 ,or 9 digital images of different assemblage or 3D collage pieces (please note that submissions with more than 9 images will not be considered. Required images of details do not count towards total.)
- By submitting, you agree to own all rights to the images and take full responsibility for the content
- Submission of images implies agreement with the terms and conditions outlined
Digital Image Requirements:
- Submit high-quality JPEG or JPG files
- Image size: at least 2100 pixels on the longest side, not exceeding 4200 pixels
- File size: not more than 12 MB per file for 2D submissions, 8 MB for 3D submissions
Image File Specifications:
- Submit JPG/JPEG files only
- Image size: 1200 pixels for the longest edge
- File size: around 500 KB or smaller
- No borders or watermarks allowed
File Naming:
- Name files with your first name, last name, and title and/or number of the art piece
- Avoid special characters in file names apart from an underscore
Email Digital Image Submission:
- Subject line should indicate the issue number you are submitting to
- Attach image files directly to the email
- Do not embed files; use a zip file if necessary
- Include submission information as text in the email
Include With Your Entry:
- Name (first and last), location, and titles for your art pieces
- URL for your portfolio website and social media (if applicable)

Artists’ Rights:
- You retain all rights to your work
- Assembla Magazine may reproduce your image for promotional purposes, always crediting you as the artist

Copyright Information:
- By submitting, you assert ownership of copyright or have permission from the copyright holder
- Assembla Magazine retains a non-exclusive license to use submitted digital images
- Take-down requests are not accepted; submitted works may remain online indefinitely
