You can submit 3, 6, or 9 images of your work.
Submission fees:
$20 CAD for 3 images
$25 CAD for 6 images
$30 CAD for 9 images
Please note: An additional $10 CAD late fee will apply to all submissions made after November 10, 2024, for each price category.
Submission Requirements
- Images must be of excellent quality (not blurry)
- Artwork should be the only item visible, with a neutral background preferred
- Full-view images must show all artwork edges
- If required, images of details may be included in addition to the 3, 6, or 9 image submissions. Detail images should reveal intriguing portions of the work.
- No watermarks, borders, or names on digital images
- No AI works will be accepted. All accepted works must be analog assemblages or 3D collages
- Only one submission per artist per issue, consisting of 3, 6, or 9 images of different assemblage or 3D collage pieces will be accepted. We encourage artists to carefully select their best work for submission, ensuring that each submission receives the attention it deserves during the review process. Additionally, submitted works must not have previously appeared on Assembla Magazine, ensuring fresh and original content for our readership.
- Select 3, 6, or 9 images of your chosen artwork and make sure that they follow the image file requirements outlined in the next section.
- Fill in the Submissions Form at the bottom of this page and pay the fee according to the number of images to be submitted.
- Send a follow-up email that includes your images to [email protected].

Note: An additional $10 CAD surcharge will be applied to late submissions.
Image File Requirements
- File Format: Submit high-quality JPEG or PNG files only.
- Resolution: Minimum of 300 DPI (dots per inch) for print quality.
- Specifications:
- No borders or watermarks allowed.
- Ensure images are suitable for high-quality print reproduction.
Name files using the following format: FirstName_LastName_ArtPieceTitle.
- Avoid using special characters in file names, except for underscores (_)
Email Submission Requirements
- Subject line should indicate the issue number you are submitting to
- Attach image files directly to the email
- Do not embed files; use a zip file if necessary
- Include submission information as text in the email
- Name (first and last), location, and titles for your art pieces
- URL for your portfolio website and social media (if applicable)

Rights & Copyrights
- You retain all rights to your work
- Assembla Magazine may reproduce your image for promotional purposes, always crediting you as the artist
